Grinding Stone Fountain
A grinding stone fountain reclaimed from a mill in Chester is the cornerstone for this water feature. We were able to set the stone on a pedestal in order to give the cascading water room to fall into the basin below. The fact the stone is over 150 years old and locally utilized only adds to the interest of the feature. This is directly after we initially turned on the feature and is evidence by the murky geyser erupting through the hub of the stone. This will settle out within a day or two. The stepping stones are mined from the same quarry that provided the boulders. More updates will be posted after the plantings and lighting are installed.
